JohnnyL
Hi guys, first of all, i've been getting some awesome help and replies from the community appreciated!!) secondly; I have been searching the whole web for a solution, but can't seem to find it.. How is this not (yet) possible? So i have my site running with WHMCS.. providing Hosting services and Maintenance plans. (from the Netherlands) Currently I only have 2 payment options after the invoice is being made and sent; 1. iDeal via Mollie ( manual, works ok) 2. Banktransfer ( manual, works ok) ^ These payments are being made MANUALLY by my customers.. and i want an automated way, like via SEPA in combination with Mollie. Because i have been getting these questions all the time ''Why isnt there an automatic payment possibility ?'' refrain in dutch: Wat ik wil is; dat zodra klanten een factuur ontvangen, zij die kunnen betalen via automatische incasso, zodat ze de facture niet elke keer handmatig moeten betalen.. Wij hebben mollie en er kan daar SEPA (automatische incasso) geactiveerd worden.. Maar hoe activeer je dat in godsnaam in whcms? die gateway opties zie ik niet. How can we make this possible, cause i dont see any option for SEPA in the whmcs gateway options?? Any help or pointers are welcome!! Once again Thanks in advance! Regards, Johnny.
brian!
there are a couple of free "Mollie" addons in Marketplace... https://marketplace.whmcs.com/product/966 https://marketplace.whmcs.com/product/2602 one other module that you might want to take a look at has been written by the developer of the first addon listed above... https://0100dev.nl/modules/whmcs Quote WHMCS Mollie Recurring - € 60,- excl. VAT * A WHMCS gateway/addon to accept recurring payments through Mollie (Recurring). Automatically sends payments to Mollie, processes them and set the invoices to paid in WHMCS once received by Mollie. The gateway works by first let the user pay for creating a mandate. This can be either a symbolic amount of x (default 1 cent) or by paying an open invoice. After the mandate is created, Mollie Recurring will be activated for the customer and from this moment on all open invoices for that customer will be send to Mollie Recurring. The gateway will ensure that the payment is taking place the day before the invoice expires, this to match the required SEPA Direct Debit timeline. More information about the payment methods supported for the mandate payment and the recurring payments is available here. it's not listed in Marketplace, and hence there are no reviews, but it's the only Mollie / SEPA addon that i'm aware of... it may be worth finding out from the developer if they do a trial version so that you can test it before purchase... and if it's compatible for your version of WHMCS.
JohnnyL
Thanks for the reply Brian.. I have no clue why this should be a 'paid' .. This should be an standard gateway option imho.. We already pay for the transactions fee @ mollie ... And the iDeal payment gateway in WHMCS works flawless.. Why can't there be just such an option for the SEPA part for mollie? Maybe its just me being stubborn, but why buy if it should be included and available for the users already.. 😕
brian!
1 hour ago, JohnnyL said: Thanks for the reply Brian.. I have no clue why this should be a 'paid' because the default gateway doesn't do it and the third-party developers put the time in developing (and maintaining I assume) a gateway that has the recurring feature? 1 hour ago, JohnnyL said: This should be an standard gateway option imho.. Why can't there be just such an option for the SEPA part for mollie? then you're into the realms of feature requests... which can take years and ideally need numerous users all pushing for the same feature. 1 hour ago, JohnnyL said: Maybe its just me being stubborn, but why buy if it should be included and available for the users already.. because if you want/need the feature *NOW* then it's your only option (that i'm aware of) to buy the addon... if you're prepared to wait months/years, then put in a WHMCS feature request... maybe if sufficiently voted for, it would make it in v8. at the end of the day, WHMCS decides where to dedicate their developers time.... and there are certainly other features that will (and should imo) have a higher priority than this... the cynic in me thinks that anything MarketConnect-related, and hence a money-spinner for WHMCS, would have a high priority; other requests with a high number of votes should take precedence too... as should fixing the numerous bugs in the cart that have been ignored for years. btw - nothing wrong with being stubborn! you'll just need to decide whether you need it now, or are prepared to wait for WHMCS to get around to doing it themselves... and there's no guarantees that they will no matter how many votes a request gets.
