Domain Lookup Provider - Not Working

Hello.

I am using WHMCS 7.5.1. the issue I have is that the domain checker on the front-end is not working. When I search for a domain that is obviously not registered, it comes up as unavailable. In fact, every search I perform has an Unavailable status.
I changed the provider from WHMCS to Enom, and the same issue persisted.

My question is I need to isolate the issue. 1 - is it WHMCS? 2 - Is it my template, or 3 - Is it my registrar?
I have two registrars loaded - not sure if that is an issue?

What can I check on WHMCS to sort this out asap? It used to work I believe?
What can I check on the template to sort this out?

Please help

Thank you.

i'd go along with @Kian on this - certainly .africa, .blog and .stream will be missing from your resources/domains/dist.whois.json file and so will have to be added to a custom whois.json file in the same directory.... I bet if you check your orders, you won't have any for any of these TLDs recently!

Browse to public_html/resources/domains and create a whois.json file if one doesnt exist

Within the file, add the following - save

[
    {
        "extensions": ".africa",
        "uri": "socket://whois.nic.africa",
        "available": "Available"
    }
]
