ZeroGravity
On the admin homepage " !DOCTYPE html>" is appearing at the top of the page above the menu. It is only on the homepage. Any idea how I can make this go away? Thanks!
bear
Is there a leading "<" on that, and is it at the top of the page? It needs to appear before any of the page code.

WHMCS ChrisD
It looks like you have something causing a conflict @ZeroGravity try reuploading your /admin folder to rule out any issues in that theme
WHMCS Technical Analyst II WHMCS Alex Posted January 19, 2018 WHMCS Technical Analyst II Share Posted January 19, 2018 Hello, In addition to my colleagues response, please try renaming your /modules/widgets directory to something like /modules/old-widgets and then create a fresh /modules/widgets directory , uploading the stock widgets shipped with WHMCS You can download a fresh copy of WHMCS and extract the widgets from it here The reason I suggest this is that we have encountered this where the culprit was a custom widget, so this process will help identify if the culprit here is a custom widget. I hope this helps.
ZeroGravity
Thanks! I found the culprit. I was a custom widget I found to display SSL certificate expiry dates. Deleted the widget and the doctype text is gone.
