WHMCS Upgrade for Lease License

Recommended Posts

Hello

We have a lease license from a popular host and have a version 6.3 installed but now we need to integrate the taxation system and will have to upgrade to the latest version..

However when logging into the WHMCS website, we are unable to download the full latest release as its say we have a leased license

Kindly let us know what would be the process and how we can upgrade it to the latest version???

Regards

the taxation system within WHMCS hasn't really changed much between v6 to v7 - so i'm not sure why you'd need to upgrade (unless you were using a third-party module that required it to be run on the latest version). :?:

have you tried contacting your host about this? perhaps your server doesn't meet the v7 requirements and so that may be one reason if your host doesn't want you to upgrade.

you could contact Reseller Support, open a ticket with them (no login required) and they'd be able to point you in the right direction... offhand, I don't know who has the responsibility to provide the updates (the reseller or WHMCS).
