solver80
Hi, I'm wondering how to set cost for custom product. I'm setting product type as "Other Product Service". This is backup service which is set manually by me and athe moment all payment is reported as Income without any cost.
zomex
Hello there, Is what you're trying to do not supported under the pricing tab of the product?
solver80
Hi, Under pricing tab you can only set price of the product for customer as far as I can see. I'm looking for a way to set cost (How much I'm paying for this product to supplier). Otherwise Income and Profit reports are inaccurate.

Otherwise Income and Profit reports are inaccurate. personally, I wouldn't try to do P&L reports in WHMCS (i'd export the sales into an accounting program and let that do it)... but each to their own. I daresay one option would be to use a product custom field on each product, make it admin only and adjust your reports to use that value as the cost of the product... of course, if your cost price varies depending on the billing cycle, then you may be up the proverbial creek trying to use custom fields.
sgonzalez
Hi ! I was looking for the exact same option... maybe we need to create a feature request to see if we are lucky and we get this done.
