Please update it at your earliest convenience" How do I disable this? We use third parties and this is totally unnecessary Please help Edited January 25, 2017 by artaweb
Damo
If you are using third parties for payments then why would your clients have their card details stored in your WHMCS system?
artaweb
That's the thing. They don't store it. This feature is not even enabled. But all clients are getting this message. Even those have no active orders.
brian!
if you can't figure out what's triggering the notification, a quick fix would be to tweak the header.tpl template to remove it. https://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?117386-How-to-access-alert-information-from-ClientAreaPage-hook
artaweb
Thanks for the attention. I had to Disable "Disable Credit Card Storage" Under WHMCS/Admin/General Settings/Security
twhiting9275
This can be tricky, and it's not recommended to actually 'disable credit card storage'. Some processors such as Authnet CIM will break if you do this!! Here's how to do this, without breaking anything (please, make sure you turn storage on again, to prevent any issues ) Login to admin Go to setup-> email templates click on 'Credit Card Expiring Soon' Click on the 'disable' checkbox Save the template Now, the 'Credit Card Expiring Soon' template won't even be sent out.
brian!
Now, the 'Credit Card Expiring Soon' template won't even be sent out. except he never mentioned the clients receiving emails - only being 'shown a notice'... which implied notifications in the client area!
