No Half Pixels - Customer support is getting worse!

Recommended Posts

Just a heads up for anyone planning on purchasing any modules from No Half Pixels. I have purchased 8 modules from this company and at first support was excellent! Always got a reply in a timely manner.

I have open tickets from a month ago which I am STILL waiting on an initial reply. I have not heard one work from Mr. Lee Mason. I understand everyone has lives and has things outside of the WHMCS world, BUT when you are a developer and sell products, and sell support and updates, I think the developer should be help reliable for their actions. This is why I decided to post here and let other WHMCS users know about this poor customer service.

I have been waiting for all the modules to be updated to WHMCS 7 and PHP7 compatible since WHMCS 7 arrived. If you look on his forums, there are others who are looking for updates.

We want what we paid for!

hmmm, i was just about to post asking if anyone has had any feedback on the Achievements & Rewards Program.

Since No Half Pixels is the developer as well I guess I have my answer unfortunately.

Certainly can't justify purchasing a module if there's no support.

If your using WHMCS 6 its perfect. But for us who have upgraded to WHMCS 7.X and use PHP7 we have no support, and no updates. It appears Lee Mason is busy with other things in life now a days.

I will try that.

i also just noticed another issue that you might want to check

i have paid upto date Support & Updates Addons for my modules, but when i try and download latest versions it tells me i need to have active Support & Updates Addons, so i checked and they are all marked as terminated.

example is

Addon (NHP-Reviews-**********) - WHMCS Reviews Support & Updates Addon (14/08/2016 - 13/08/2017) PAID but for the module in the addons it shows

[h=4]WHMCS Reviews Support & Updates Addon[/h]£9.00GBP Annually

Next Due Date: 14/08/2017

Terminated

so on 04/01/2017 10:59 i sent this to them in the ticket

i cant see the point of all these repeated canned replies.i just want this module working.

If i do not get a sensible reply withing the next 24 hrs i will be cancelling all my modules with you and demanding a full refund on all monies i have paid.

so guess what today 12/01/2017 11:00 i get this canned message

That's a bit harsh. Demanding a refund on modules that were working? You've used the modules, they were working just fine.

Talk about a rude customer

So what would you call Lee Mason then.

1) a fake canned message as he is a one man operation, so NO Priority Support Team.

2) IGNORING all forms of communications ( tickets, twitter, facebook, email, phone, forums) since Oct 2016 for me, but on his sites forum it looks like it goes back to Aug 2016.

3) module support addons show as terminated even though they still have 6 to 7 months left before renewal.

4) i tell them to not reply with another pointless canned reply, but that is exactly what he does.

5) as these replies are not being generated when a comment is made on his ticket, then they are being manually triggered, so he is 100% aware what he is doing.

If anyone is being Rude and Ignorant it is Lee Mason and No Half Pixels

so eventually after 4 months i get these 2 emails from lee mason

hello Terry Robertson,

So sorry for the delay, we have been trying to find out what issues you are having and have tested the module across multiple whmcs and php versions without being able to find an issue.

We have made a few small changes while we were testing and have attached a copy to this reply, can you please try replacing your copy with this one and see if this resolves the issue at all?

Once again we are extremely sorry for the delay on this issue, as a result we are adding £20 credit to your account, which will mean at least 2 free years support and updates for the module in question as a token gesture for the delay you have experienced.

Please let me know if the new files resolve your issue.

Regards

Lee Mason

hello Terry Robertson,

Sorry ive just made another change which may also help you, please use this latest version.

Regards

Lee Mason

but still no £20 credit on my account as he states and still nothing why the paid addon is still listed as terminated with still 7 months to go before it is due for renewal
