How to reduce the number of languages?

As you install WHMCS straight-from-the-box, you have nearly two dozens of different languages the user can select... some of them even quite exotic, like Macedonian or Estonian.

 

But, if I want to keep only few of them (in order also to refine and customizing the translation of my theme), how can I delete some of them from the menu?

1. the quick (and long-established) way - delete the files/languages you don't want from the 'lang' folder - that will remove them from the menu...

the downside to this method now, with v7, is if you are using the automatic updater, it will supposedly re-add the missing language files during an update.

 

2, use an action hook to modify the languages shown.
