WHMCS Version 7 Upgrade / ionCube Error

Recommended Posts

Trying to upgrade from WHMCS 6.3.1 to version 7.0 and I get the following error;

Fatal error: The file /home/ttl/public_html/whmcs/mgment/systemhealthandupdates.php cannot be decoded by this version of the ionCube Loader. If you are the administrator of this site then please install the latest version of the ionCube Loader. in Unknown on line 0

PHP.ini file reads as follows;

date.timezone = Europe/London

disable_functions = escapeshellarg, ini_alter, passthru, parse_ini_file, popen, proc_open, proc_close, proc_terminate, proc_get_status, proc_nice, show_source, system

zend_extension="/usr/local/IonCube/ioncube_loader_lin_5.6.so"

extension=pdo.so

extension=pdo_mysql.so

extension=memcache.so

Any ideas?

Hello TheTechLounge,

As twhiting9275 mentioned it would be worth trying to upgrade your ionCube installation to the most recent ionCube Loaders however as long as you are running ionCube Loaders 5.0.21 or later it should function.

It seems that your account may not be able to access the ionCube Loader version your host should be able to help you out with this as well.

We're running PHP 5.6 so as you say it should work. As for not being able to access ionCube loader it's working fine under 6.3.1
