lance
Mail templates..... We have added an add on that will send an email for SSL cert expiry, the problem is that the mail it sends out does not include the product name or domain name in the email (see attached image). We have tried numerous entries eg Your {$service_product_name} for {$domain_name} will expire in 30 Days But it does not pic up the product or domain when the email is sent.... Any Ideas????
brian!
what type of email template is it ? I would have thought that if it was a "Product" type email, then the $service mergefields would work; if it's any other type, then they probably won't.
zomex
As Brian said it's likely that the product email type isn't being used, the product variables are only usable via this email type. I would recommend mentioning this bug to the addon develop.
lance
the template is within the general messages area of the email templates, which you cannot preview or select to send in client view.. when copy the template over to the product/services section (so you can send from client product screen) it seems to work... I have done some changes so will see how it goes.
WHMCS ChrisD
Hello Lance, Thanks for your post. What happens if you use {$service_product_name} for the product name and {$service_domain} as the domain name for the service?
