twhiting9275
IIRC there was an issue with this if you had advanced two factor authentication enabled (ie: duo auth, or google auth). Make sure that the user can login directly with the user and password, not using 2fa of any kind

WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted June 13, 2016 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted June 13, 2016 Hi, There are potentially a number of causes for this error: The cPanel server has Force SSL Redirect enabled in WHM but the secure connection checkbox is not tick on the server in WHMCS Firewall restriction: The WHMCS server's IP address needs to be able to communicate with cPanel /etc/hosts.allow : WHM allows managing /etc/hosts.allow to deny all. You will need to add the WHMCS server's IP address to the /etc/hosts.allow list above the deny rule. This can also be caused by SELinux being enabled on the cPanel server. "Limit logins to verified IP addresses" is enabled in WHM under "Security Center >> Configure Security Policies". This either needs the IP under Help > License Information or to be disabled at your discretion.
