MJHost
Okay, so until recently I was on a reseller package with HostGator. I upgraded to VPS, and my WHMCS license was updated. However on Wednesday, my WHMCS license was suspended by HostGator, they rectified this issue last night (by whitelisting my IP Address with WHMCS) this worked until this morning, when I found out my license had again been suspended by HostGator again. I thought I should lease a license directly from WHMCS so ordered the license, and changed it via the admin page of my website, and that has been suspended too now!!! ARGGHHHHH Any suggestions anyone?
brian!
the only thing you can really do is to open a support ticket with the license department and wait for their reply...

sentq
why don't you get Owned License to be suspended too try to contact hostgator about old license, also License department at WHMCS can give you clear idea
Alex - Arvixe
Did you get a reason for the license becoming suspended at HostGator?
blakeh
I went through this same thing and was down for a week. Even tried a purchased license. Evidently once an IP gets listed for whatever reason, even an owned license on the same IP will auto suspend. It seems like a sloppy system. Between Hostgator taking 12 hours between ticket responses (really trying to move away, but have tons of sites) and whmcs somewhat faster, but not that much faster ticket responses, we were down on our whmcs install for a week.
vincent_g
When you try to do things cheaply you pay a price for it eventually. These licenses issued by hosts for resellers are not a good idea as you have to rely on the host to pay their bill! Also they could move your site and disrupt your license by changing the IP. Calpop Went out of business - which host are you so sure of that will stay in business? I have had no problems with WHMCS since version 381 Have a owned license and never had a problem.
