pathfinder
after typing all the info to add a new profile, I get an "invalid access key" error. But my problem with this new version is I cannot add/save the profile. I believe the old one let you save a non-working profile and had a test server button to help you troubleshoot your connection. AS everyone who uses this App should be using very long and cryptic passwords and keys, this is ridicules. I'll work on getting the correct key. ikkezelf
Downloaded the new version, but can't seem to login. I have the old version also, which still works. When I try to add new profile into new version it gives the error: "An unknown error occurred!(createErrorListenerProfileDialog)" any help on that? I make use of a access key. with regerads, joost
onzehost
Hello, I have all the correct information and am having the same error: An unknown error occurred!(createErrorListenerProfileDialog) Has anyone got the solution?
Infopro
Do you have any sort of redirect setup in your htaccess? If yes, try disabling it in the htaccess and then reopen the app and try adding your Profile.
onzehost
I have no redirects, but I changed the admin directory. Obs .: The old version works without problems.

Blueberry3.14
Why couldn't existing users simply upgrade, rather than reinstall?
sentq
Why couldn't existing users simply upgrade, rather than reinstall?since this release you can upgrade, but for old application many files, libraries may have been deleted/added/changed so to make sure the new version is working as you expect is to have a fresh install, it's been multiple years without update, and it will not do anything bad to you if you uninstall and install it from beginning..i hope it works for you
Blueberry3.14
Yeah, that would make sense. Haven't had much of a chance to use it, so I'm leaving the old installed for a while as a backup. I was able to get it installed by using "domain.com/whmcsfolder", rather than how the instructions state ("http://domain.com/whmcsfolder"). If anyone's having trouble installing, might give that a try.
Blueberry3.14
I've got aWHMCS v2.0 installed and I can access everything, but it has some weird quirks. A customer opened a ticket this morning, then I replied and she replied back. When I access that ticket through the Android app v2.0, I can only see the first customer response. I also can't reply to it. Reading the entire ticket and replying works fine in the old version. Anyone else experiencing this?

Infopro
That's fine, or here in this thread works. In Settings, there's an option titled: "Show" and you can set this to the number of replies you want to see. Does that help if changed? While viewing the ticket, do you have the "REPLY" link at top right corner of screen or no? If no, and assuming you're on a smaller device, do you see a Reply option on the hardware menu button of your phone when pressed while viewing a ticket?

Does that help if changed? Weird setting. I'd expect it to show the most recent reply, not the first. I changed it, but now I'm getting a notice that I need to purchase a license. When I set this version up I included everything in the server profile that was in the previous version. Could this be because I have 2 versions installed simultaneously? I'm not willing to uninstall the previous version until I'm sure v2 is working. While viewing the ticket, do you have the "REPLY" link at top right corner of screen or no? If no, and assuming you're on a smaller device, do you see a Reply option on the hardware menu button of your phone when pressed while viewing a ticket? Nope, no reply button, and nothing available when I try the hardware menu button (where the reply option was in the previous version).
Troy
I'll throw this in the heap as well. The enter key does not work in ticket responses. I use a Blackberry Passport, which runs Android apps. I've never come across an Android app that runs on Blackberry but where the enter key doesn't work. If I attempt to answer a ticket the enter key simply does nothing. Since I have a signature that gets added to each response, I cannot put any space between my reply or the signature, nor can I create space between paragraphs. Needless to say that makes it pretty unusable. I'm guessing it's not going to be something WHMCS will do anything about since I'm not actually using an Android device. However I run dozens of Android apps without problems like this.

Restricting all areas in the app for demo, is problematic. Some areas you might be able to have access to, some you will not. When I set this version up I included everything in the server profile that was in the previous version. Two different apps. Your details don't matter here I don't think. Could this be because I have 2 versions installed simultaneously? I'm not willing to uninstall the previous version until I'm sure v2 is working. I personally guarantee the new version works better. Let go of the old, it won't hurt. Nope, no reply button, and nothing available when I try the hardware menu button (where the reply option was in the previous version). And, I don't want to get your hopes up, but, there is talk of trying to get something going proper for BB users at some point.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted February 12, 2015 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted February 12, 2015 Hi, Having both apps won't cause a problem at-all, they're completely separate. I have attached a screenshot highlighting the Reply button when viewing a ticket.

I have this same issue on my Blackberry Z10--I have a Passport coming in the mail tomorrow, so I guess that means it's a compatibility issue with the Android runtime that Blackberry uses. UPDATE: I actually found a workaround for this on my phone (Z10). If I install Google Keyboard, I can use that in Android applications rather than the default Blackberry on-screen keyboard, and the ENTER key works as it should. Not sure how this would impact the physical keyboard on a Passport, but I'll give it a try tomorrow and post an update.
