Reporting incorrect whois server for the TLD .eu

Recommended Posts

[uNCONFIRMED]

Open and edit the file /includes/whoisservers.php

Change:

.eu|whois.eu|Status: AVAILABLE

Into:

.eu|whois.eu|AVAILABLE

Now we get an correct behavior on searching .eu domains.

Nope but because of your link I found this topic and it seems pretty old as well:

I am a new customer and downloaded the most recent version. I now question myself why such simple things did not made it within a released version to get a version that is working out of the box where possible ..... why leaving things to be fixed when a solution is provided? What more am I going to find while you all have fixed it before?

Hello,

As brian noted this has been reported and worked on. A pull request with the change has been submitted and I expect it will be in the next release. In the short term, this is why we provide the whoisservers.php page unencoded, in the longer term we are investigating various alternatives that would allow us to push out updates for this information in a much faster way or don't require tracking specific whois servers at all.

Have a great day,

Nate C
