DennisHermannsen
I'm making this topic to see if I'm the only one having problems with the Live Chat made by Stardevelop. We've bought a license to it through WHMCS, and at first everything worked great. However, some clients started to say that they were tired of waiting for hours and not get through to a supporter, which I couldn't understand, since we're always accepting chat requests within seconds. One day, I accessed our website without being online on the Live Help app, and I noticed that it was still showing up on our website, and said that we were online. I tried logging in, and I set the status of all accounts to offline (even though they already were), and it didn't do anything. I contacted Stardevelop, and the lady that I talked to could see the problem, and she said she would look into the problem and contact me when she knew something. They had access to both the webserver and could log in to Live Chat, and she said that it had been installed correctly. I didn't ever hear from them again. Somehow the problem fixed itself again. Then we bought access to the mobile app (3 x $19.95), and then we found something really weird (both on iPhone and two different Android phones) - we weren't able to log out. Even though we had set out status to "offline", tried logging out, forced the app to close or even restarted the phones, we kept getting notifications whenever a client requested help. We contacted them again, and they said they were gonna look into this and email us when they found the problem. Never heard from them, and the only solution was to uninstall the app. I just contacted them AGAIN yesterday. The past 3 days we haven't been able to log out. Well, we can log out, but the website shows us as online all the time. /http://i.imgur.com/F0M02bV.png All accounts are offline. Have anyone experienced the same? I'm tired of reinstalling the module... Every time we do, the database is overriden.
durangod
Sorry your having a rough time, i hope you can work things out. Just in case you cannot, i personally use livehelperchat.com it is free open source and the guy who runs it is very nice and gives great service. I typically dont get much of my software from that part of the world but liked it so much when it first came out that i contributed code to it right away to help him. And i have used it ever since and it has grown in features over time. Its really nice.
DennisHermannsen
We're using Live Help from Stardevelop because it's integrated into WHMCS. As soon as a client is logged in, we can see all about the client from the chat.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted June 16, 2014 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted June 16, 2014 Hi, I'm sorry to hear you've been having problems contacting Stardevelop support. My understanding is that they're available during Australian office hours. If you've still not heard anything, please let me know your Ticket ID open at Stardevelop and I'll see what we can do to expedite matters.

DennisHermannsen
They fixed the problem yesterday. I don't know how, but they said that they did the exactly same thing as I mentioned that I had done... They said that one of my operators were logged into the mobile app - funny thing is, he doesn't have access to the app. They said they changed his status to offline - I had already done that... Even twice! His status had been showing as offline the all the time, though.
