This is more of a cPanel question than WHMCS technical issue. Does the install still show on the cPaddons page listing?

Sounds like you removed it incorrectly if I was to guess. The best way is from the same place you installed it, there's an option to uninstall.

If it doesn't show there, you might install it to the exact same location once again and then use the Uninstaller, that should clean things back up.

Thanks, I have add the sub-domain and re-installed Word Press. We shall see tomorrow if I get the alert again that Word Press needs updating.

If all goes well, then how should I go about removing the sub-domain and the word press install? Remove the wordpress install first, then remove the sub-domain?

I didn't have a chance to remove it yesterday, but the alert came in again today via email. THis is what it said

Hello root,

In order to protect the security of your users' websites, we recommend that you upgrade the following scripts installed via the "Scripts Library" in the cPanel interface:

[nickdinc]

- WordPress.0 v3.6.1

Location: at /http://dev.nickdinc.com/wordpress/

Latest: v3.8

Upgrade here: /https://cpanel.tealhost.com:2083/frontend/x3/addoncgi/cpaddons.html?addon=cPanel::Blogs::WordPress&action=upgrade&workinginstall=cPanel::Blogs::WordPress.0.yaml

I removed the word press install, then I removed the sub domain today.
