Is it possible that the lastest patch is broken?

The archive contain:

drwxr-xr-x 5 root root 4096 Dec 23 10:29 5.2.15

drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 Nov 26 22:04 admin

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 10122 Nov 26 22:04 contact.php

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 42025 Nov 26 22:04 dbconnect.php

drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Nov 26 22:04 feeds

drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 Nov 26 22:04 includes

drwxr-xr-x 5 root root 4096 Nov 26 22:04 modules

*5.2.15 is a folder.. that's new. Never seen the version number as a folder in any previous patch.

When I copy -R * /pathtowhmcsinstall

chown -R www-data:www-data /pathtowhmcsinstall

I get a white screen when I reload the whmcs admin page.

Anyone else having this issue?

Apologies everyone. Within a few minutes of publishing the announcement, it was discovered that the incremental update files were contained within a subfolder. The release was updated to remove the subfolder and MD5 checksum updated.

The patch contained in the blog post @ http://blog.whmcs.com is now correct.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

Matt

Im still getting the white screen after applying the patch along with this error:

Catchable fatal error: Argument 1 passed to WHMCS_TokenManager::init() must be an instance of WHMCS_Init, instance of WHMCSCore given, called in includes/functions.php on line 0 and defined in /includes/classes/class.TokenManager.php on line 0

Hi Noony,

This would suggest not all the files uploaded successfully. I recommend download the v5.2.15 full release package from our members area and upload that.

Do not upload /install and do not overwrite configuration.php

Finally clear your template cache (Utilities > System > System Cleanup) - that will resolve the issue.
