tomb
We’ve set up Configurable Options with additional recurring services. Currently all configurable options are displayed on the invoices, even 0 ones are selected. I am looking for a way to hide these „unused“ Add-ons. It's kind of weird to charge clients with $0 for services that weren’t selected. How can I hide them?
homepageonline
Did you ever get an answer for this? Looking into it as well.
tomb
Unfortunately I am still looking for a solution. You can find a feature request called „Remove addons displayed on Invoice when not purchased“ in the customer feedback section. https://requests.whmcs.com/responses/remove-addons-displayed-on-invoice-when-not-purchased Please also vote for it.
brian!
are we talking about the on-screen invoices or the pdf invoices?
tomb
are we talking about the on-screen invoices or the pdf invoices? Both. It’s related to the html (on-screen) and pdf invoices.
brian!
hmm... if you know your own config options, then you could probably tweak the html version using a multiple 'replaces' on the description field - but in think under most circumstances, that might not be a practical solution. so I suspect this is something that will be easier to solve by whmcs not adding them to the description field in the first place.
TheHackRepairGuy
Anything become of this one, or anyone work out a fix for this? Seriously, would you expect to buy a computer at Best Buy and walk out with a receipt for every part in the store that will connect to the computer?
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted July 8, 2014 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted July 8, 2014 Hi, You could potentially use the InvoicePaidPreEmail hook pint to remove the items you didn't want from the invoice line item before it's sent: http://docs.whmcs.com/Hooks:InvoicePaidPreEmail'>http://docs.whmcs.com/Hooks:InvoicePaidPreEmail http://docs.whmcs.com/Hooks Moved to customisation & integration forum.

ryan.odwyer
I'm also looking for the same solution, are there any examples that I can work from for creating the hook?
