SteveR
I think I read somewhere here that WHMCS cannot edit DNS records via your WHM account, do your clients can't add CNAME records etc, is that correct? If so then I'm forced to use nameservers provided by ResellerClub (my selected registrar)? Edited September 11, 2013 by SteveR
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted September 11, 2013 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted September 11, 2013 Hi, Correct, your clients would make this change using the DNS Manager function of cPanel.
SteveR
Thanks John, so that would mean that I'll just need to disable the 'DNS Management' option when the client is checking out which I've done, but I guess I'll also need to disable 'Email Forwarding'? - - - Updated - - - Actually, on checking putting -1 in the DNS Management option doesn't disable it Am I trying to disable them in the wrong part of WHMCS? I know I can disable them on a domain by domain basis in the Clients Profile but I wanted to stop them ordering it in the first place. brian!
isn't it domain pricing and you just untick the dns management option from the domain tlds that you don't want to offer it with ?
SteveR
wow, how did i not see that!? Thanks Brian, I feel a little ashamed that I asked that question now, especially as I talked about changing the Domain Addon prices directly below the very thing I was looking for!
