Customer Privacy - Safe Practice required from WHMCS staff...

I recently had WHMCS staff do a credit card migration from ModernBill4.x to WHMCS. The WHMCS staff complete the migration to my satisfaction however they left two files on my server.

1. The migration script. Not a big problem.

2. A text file of data exported from my modernbill 4.x system which included my clients full card number, expiry date, name, address, phone number etc. Over 500 valid sets of details.

These two files should have been cleared by WHMCS after completing the migration, but they were not.

Luckily I spotted these two files and removed them before someone went looking for them. The name of the file would indicate that WHMCS always uses the same file names - so anyone knowing this could go on a hunt.

If you have had your data migrated from another system by WHMCS staff, look for any extra files and if necessary delete them.
