Hosting and DNS settings

Prolly I missing something, we're going to use WHMCS for our domain & webhosting site, I looked in the forum for an answer but I'm not be able to find a result.

 

The question is.... If an user will buy a domain+hosting space option is it possible to auto setup the DNS server in the way the domain will point our hosting server? Or we (or our customer) need to do it manually?

 

We will use WHMCS + Plesk + InternetBs.

WHMCS will automatically configure the domain's nameservers to point to the server on which the hosting account is created, yes.

as John says everything will be automatically setup if you configure the server and registrar details correctly

If im not mistaken looks like OP is asking about a seperate DNS server to the hosting server

yes if he sets the server and registrar details correctly with the correct nameservers etc, then everything is automated.

Only if the DNS is served by the Plesk hosting server; if the DNS is served from a different server (as it looks like it might be), then it won't work.
