I'm a skeptic, and have been for years. As you say, it's not proven until it's done and announced....but will you believe it then, finally? I have doubts. I am not saying there never was, just that I have never seen one. As previously stated, companies are always changing hands and no announcements are made. Deals are made behind closed doors and the outcome is not visible till much later. This morning I did try the chat system at Hostgator and am still waiting for someone to respond.
