What to do if money received but WHMCS did not register domain automatically...

Hi,

 

I have namecheap setup as the registrar but after my client made payment for web hosting and domain name, it did not register the domain name through WHMCS... may I know what goes wrong in this case? Below is some of my observations:

 

1. WHMCS went ahead and created a cpanel account with the username and password but the domain name has not been registered..

 

2. The last activity done by WHMCS is "Running Module Create on Payment".

 

I manually login to whmcs and register the domain name and it went through without any errors... can someone please advise if there is any thing I need to do in this case to automate the process?

Do you have the right registrar set for that domain type ?

What happens when you manually click "register" ?

What have you set for automation options ?

Yes, I have set Namecheap as the registrar for that domain type - .com

 

When I click register in WHMCS, it went through successfully.

 

I set set up the module when payment received.

 

Anything else I need to do? Any help will be appreciated, thank you.

After running the module create your server should report a success, if you don't see that this suggests a fatal error of some sort is occurring. I think it would be best to open a ticket mentioning the account in question with admin login details.

That used to happen to me just for cases that admin "approve" order received.

 

If i left order as pending, after payment registration goes fine.
