cvshost
I'm having trouble creating accounts, when I try to create the login error, but I checked and the User and password and key are correct. someone could help me?
bear
User and password and key are correct. You don't use all three, only user/pass or user/key. Do you get an actual error? We moved this to a better section and removed the second thread about this same thing; one is enough.
cvshost
I get the following message ... Module Command Error Login Failed
bear
That implies the information isn't right. Passwords are case sensitive, and you'd need to make sure there are no extra spaces or anything of that nature.
cvshost
The password is correct, when I click the button WHM it connects. But when I try to create an account it's this error ... Create Module Failed - Service ID: 5 - Error: Login Failed
bear
Have you tried it with only one or the other of the pass/key entered? Have you asked support yet?
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted November 21, 2011 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted November 21, 2011 There are two possible causes for this: 1. The login details under Setup > Servers > Edit are incorrect. Please ensure you are using either the username + access hash combination or the username + password combination and that the login details are correct. 2. The Brute Force Protection settings are preventing WHMCS from creating/suspending/terminating accounts via the cPanel API. Please adjust the BFP settings in WHM.
m8internet
As above I had the same issue I found the solution was to remove the password and use the hash only
