SwiftModders
Hi All, For those of you that know me, you know I have some goodies to show. For those that don't my name is John and typically I like to fiddle with WHMCS and make things look nice. I have been working on this for a little bit, attempting to make the WHMCS Admin look, well nicer. I have spent a few days playing around with the CSS, HTML in an attempt to make something a little different, yet familiar. I'm trying to create something minimalistic without the need for many images. So I hope you enjoy the quick preview of what I hope to release. *Note: THIS IS BY NO MEANS COMPLETE. SIMPLY A PREVIEW OF A FEW HOURS OF WORK. And if you're wondering this isn't something I am looking to get paid for or anything like that, just something the community can enjoy and use at their leisure. I had hoped to work on this with Matt directly to help cleanup a lot of bad HTML code, but you have to work with what you can right? I appreciate any and all feedback! If you hate it, love it, want to suggest some changes please do! I will continue to reply to this thread with a progress report of my work and when I will release it to the community. Thanks everyone!

Jay
This is really nice, it is what the default WHMCS admin theme should look like. My suggestion would be to make the layout fluid if you can.

That is if you are looking to make some money of your hard work Thanks Shaun Hi Shaun, this template is still very far away from production release, but I do not intend to sell it. I intend to give it to the community to help spark awareness of just how good WHMCS can look. I love it will you be releasing i can can only edit pictures so it would be nice if you could do a small tut with basic editing Sure, if you want to know how to change colors and what not I can definitely put that in there. Hmmmm..... Oh yea.... I want one too..... Speechless Thanks guys This is really nice, it is what the default WHMCS admin theme should look like. My suggestion would be to make the layout fluid if you can. I have plans to adjust the layout so it flows with whatever your resolution is. So yes, it will be fluid.

SwiftModders
Update #2 After some reworking, here are some better quality real to scale versions of the new admin area: Home Page: http://www.swiftmodders.com/whmcs_admin/homepage_v2.jpg Clients List: http://www.swiftmodders.com/whmcs_admin/clients_v2.jpg Calendar: http://www.swiftmodders.com/whmcs_admin/calendar_v2.jpg Settings: http://www.swiftmodders.com/whmcs_admin/settings_v2.jpg The colors are based off of my web site if anyone is curious and my next steps are to re-work the client summary pages and do some bug testing on my other WHMCS installation . Changes of Note: Made the design flexible, stretches to your resolution. (Not recommended for <1280x1024) Cleaned up HTML areas of access. Updated jQuery and jQuery UI to latest release using CDN. Added My Notes back after forgetting and updated it to use jQuery UI dialog box. Combined properties of the homepage from "original" and "v4" themes. Jay
It's getting better and better Made the design flexible, stretches to your resolution. (Not recommended for <1280x1024) You could set a min-width so it doesn't squeeze further than a certain width.
SwiftModders
It's getting better and better You could set a min-width so it doesn't squeeze further than a certain width. Already am, but there are some pages on 1024x768 that are too big for the content container. Such as the Database Status page. I unfortunately cannot edit that template.

SwiftModders
I was hoping sometime tomorrow, however I have come across a VERY odd error in the HTML that creates some extra closing div tags. I am trying to figure out how to fix this as it only happens on select pages. But, I am a bit stumped at the moment.
SwiftModders
Hi All, I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is I fixed the issue I was having and so far everything looks very good. The bad news is, that my original intention of releasing this as a free theme is not going to be possible. I greatly underestimated how much work will go into this template and also to keep it updated for future versions. I have not set pricing, but it will be a one-time cost and with it comes support for your issues. Once finished, I will be posting some more screenshots of the clientsummary page and new tickets page .
SwiftModders
Update #3: Just completed the client summary page and the support ticket page as well. Looking very good so far. Now onto implementing and testing to make sure it works in all the browsers I plan to support. Client Summary: http://www.swiftmodders.com/whmcs_admin/client-summary_v2.jpg Support Ticket List: http://www.swiftmodders.com/whmcs_admin/tickets_list_v2.jpg

Is it possible to also have the admin tickets layout the same as v4 theme ? reply box at the top of the page instead of footer ? We have some long tickets and would be a case of scrolling down alot till we reach the reply box Cheers

I have switched around the reply box and ticket information for you. I thought it would be easier the other way, but I see what you mean.
