Hosting suspended too soon

Hi

We have only recently started using WHMCS; but have run into this problem with our first customer. :(

The customer had an outstanding invoice for domain registration. The payment due date was 14th March 2011. We have set a 14 day period in the Automation settings to suspend accounts 14 days after the due date; however the customer's hosting was suspended only 3 days after the due date, i.e. on the 17th March 2011.

One unhappy customer :(

Anyone know why this is happening?

Thanks

David

Hi John

I checked the hosting package details as suggested. The hosting package was purchased on the 3rd March, the invoice is marked paid; but the payment date is 00/00/0000 00:00.

The purchase date of the package plus 14 days = 17th March which is when the package was suspended, so that makes sense. However the invoice is paid so surely it shouldn't suspend a package that's been paid for?

My guess is the root cuase of this problem is the zero payment date and that WHMCS is ignoring the Paid status and is just comparing dates.

Zomex: Thanks for your suggestion; the Suspend Days is definitely set to 14.

Regards

David

PS. I've overridden the automatic suspension for this customer for the time being to prevent the package from being suspended every morning.
