DF-Duncan
We have been using Enom for about 8 years now, and most of the time things have been ok. In the last 4-6 months, we are finding their support to be awful 'at best'. Normal support replies are ok, within 24 hours, however to get a problem fixed takes 7-21 days, if lucky. Currently we have a problem logged, which they admit is their fault, however after day 9 still no fix, and more importantly we have to constantly ask for any update. We are now looking for a new Registrar for .com, .net, .org etc (uk domains we use Nominet). Therefore, with the exception of Enom, can you please recommend good companies to become a Reseller for. We are more than happy to supply large deposits to achieve better registration rates as we have 1,000s of domains. Thanks.

CSNM-Carl
In all my years of using Enom, I've only ever had to contact them 3 times and on each occasion my issue has been responded too & resolved in under 24hrs. What sort of issues are you having out of interest?

Tripster
In all my years of using Enom, I've only ever had to contact them 3 times and on each occasion my issue has been responded too & resolved in under 24hrs. What sort of issues are you having out of interest? My issue with Enom's support is they pass you on to your reseller chain when you contact them, which is a royal pain. My reseller account was through my previous billing program, which I ditched because WHMCS is much better, but due to having sub accounts under my own reseller at Enom moving that account isn't easy. Meanwhile, a sub-reseller needs support, has to come to me, then I must go up the chain to my original reseller who then gets to contact Enom for the support needed, and then it can take days to get anything sorted. Enom is great as long as you don't need support, and don't even bother with their hosting because I've had instances there where trying to sort out SSL issues was impossible. A client with a https://www domain is hooped because SSL uses an alternate IP, well that doesn't work too well if the client uses http://www.domainname.com for their cert since the non-SSL and SSL site point to different IP addresses. I never did manage to get Enom to sort that mess out.
DF-Duncan
We have had 4 separate problems they have taken ages to resolve. Current problem is with a .uk.com domain which is not able to update nameservers due to a fault. Day 10 of this problem, and Enom are still in talks with the Registry. We have other domains on this extension with no problem at all. This is one problem I have listed, the problem we have is their complete lack of support and correspondance on the matter, and at times very rude on the telephone.
bear
What am I seeing/doing wrong and why do they have pricing like thisNEO has higher public pricing. Reseller prices are quite low, but the interface is confusing and awful. Totally put me off using it. By the way, I am using namecheap for a while now. You do know that Namecheap is an Enom reseller, right?
nexthost
I have never liked Enom, as before when you had to load thousands into an account to save a buck or two, give me a break! lol, I don't sell domains myself no profit in it, but if a customer requests I use moniker.

WERE more probably. They seem to be ICANN accredited registrar. Source
bear
I spoke to someone in live chat on more than one occasion rather recently (that thread was from 2007; I'd contacted them the same day I posted) and they assured me that they're still using the Enom reseller back end. I'd specifically asked about pushing names from Enom as I'm thinking of leaving them and was assured it's a push, not a transfer, since it's still within the same system. Feel free to contact them and ask for your self.

Moving all my domains from godaddy to them.
WHMCSModuleNetworks
Hi, NetEarthOne (http://reseller.netearthone.com ) is good, we are using them over 8 months now and support is great. Before that we are used Enom and the main thing is that you can contact enom directly as you did not got reseller account directly. If you get reseller account from another reseller then you need to contact them and they will contact enom which is bad. Yes Namecheap is reseller of Enom though they are ICANN accredited registrar.
