mcorton
Hi folks. I have setup WHMCS without any real problems. The problem I am having is when I go to the signup page and click a package, I type in the URL but it won't go any farther. I've checked the settings and can't find the problem. I watched the tutorial videos and did make some changes according to them but still no solution. One possible problem is that my host mistakingly set up my SSL certificate as weboffaith.org instead of http://www.weboffaith.org. At the advise of an admin here I added a redirect in .htaccess (not usre I did that correctly, copied and pasted the code and saved it.) Would it solve the problem to uninstall the script and reinstall it as weboffaith.org? I am REALLY hoping there's a better solution. I've been trying now for 4 days to find a solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
bear
You should be able to configure it to use the right URL from your admin area. (setup->general settings->WHMCS SSL System URL). Get rid of the .htaccess redirect for now, and make that change. Test the result. Odds are your issue is that you're redirecting to the non-www version, and every click sends them to the www, which you then redirect.
mcorton
Thank you that worked. However I didn't get an email with the details. I'll be trying to figure that out while I wait for an answer.
mcorton
I created another account and got an email confirmation. It isn't automatically creating the account. When I accepted it, it didn't send an email. I'm getting there but still need some help if you would. Thank you.
