Sequential Invoice Number Format don't work

Hello everybody.

 

I' have a little problem in my whmcs installation.

 

When i would create a new invoice or invoice generate, the sequential invoice number format don't work.

 

It's always #1, #31, #35 etc etc. Never MyHost-{Number}

The sequential numbering system applies to *paid* invocies when you're running a pro-forma based setup

Ah, I was wondering about this myself. Can you explain more what a Pro-forma system is or point us to a link?

Thanks again John. Best now have a word to my accountant is I should be using Pro Forma invoicing.

 

If I don't need to do it, then is there a way to have a prefix to the invoice number without turning on Pro Forma invoicing?

There isn't a way to add a prefix without proforma.

I didn't think there was which is a shame as I've got a format for invoices already that uses a prefix.
