Hi all This has been a nagging question for years now. But I frequently am dealing with customers via email. For the sake of an example, lets say for example a get an email from John@ - asking "what is my mail server" I would first have to leave my mail app, log into my WHMCS admin panel, search for client, type in johns email and hope its the same email he registered with (if not, id use his name or something) Then id have to go into his product, see his domain, and then go back to my email app and type out his mail server. (There is a chance depending on the situation, I'd have to go from his product into his cPanel to find the answer to his question) Anyway, I imagine a world where inside my mail app, I can click a button that inputs the info. I think it's called mail merge. So id imagine I need a CRM that integrates with WHMCS, and also integrates with a mail app. Does anyone have any ideas of CRMs that will do this? WHMCS technically is a CRM, so if there's a way to integrate WHMCS directly into a mail app that would also answer my question. But I guess I would just prefer a fully fledged CRM that gives me a whole overview of a customer in a nicer format. Over to you 🙂

You are half way understanding what i need. My poor description isnt helping. Yes those cpanel shortcuts you speak of are binned already via a CSS hide style. But that hides it for everyone (not just my pay monthly customers). Thats essentially my main desire - to be able to hide the cpanel shortcuts panel for specific products only. So then my hosting products get full access... but my pay monthly products see less. Even though they are both cpanel products at the root. Does that make more sense?

To help explain, i offer 2 products. Hosting and pay monthly web design with hosting included. Both are using cPanel as the server - they are just differently priced. With hosting, i dont mind all the cpanel features being built into WHMCS client area service page. Where they can click cpanel shortcuts or log into cpanel directly. So the cPanel template default is fine. However, with pay monthly websdeign i dont want them having access to cpanel. Is there a way to customise the product page to be product dependant so i can hide cpanel related stuff if they are a pay monthly customer? Or any other ways people can think of to help in this area? I know clicking on the service page basically loads a "cpanel" template file from WHMCS. So not sure if i could have two of them, and somehow link the paymonthly product to that template file instead. Cheers

Anyone getting this issue? It's when clicking into someones cPanel product? This also happens when using the default "Six" theme. Its basically just got a broken style. Huge text and the table at the bottom is strange. The fix is to remove the module/servers/cpanel folder from the core installation... but as a by product to that fix, you lose all the cPanel integrated features like adding emails or seeing any of the "Quick shortcuts". I know for certain it wasn't like this last time I checked - months ago. The only major update ive done is move up to the latest version of WHMCS 8.0.3 so that is where my finger of blame lies. I have taken a fresh install of WHMCS as a test and used the fresh cpanel module folder, and the same thing happened.

Hey all, Firstly, this might be totally coincidental, but I am getting way more declined payments this month compared to usual. It might just be "one of those months".. but since the whole Stripe / SCA thing, I have been on high alert and extra sensitive to declines - worrying it could end up destroying the business in under 30 days. To clarify, I'm in the UK, use stripe and WHMCS, fully updated (with custom templates that have confirmed to have updated to support it too) Anyway... my first question, is what does this change actually do on the front end for customers? One of my closest customers got a declined payment with no idea why last month. Out of interest, I thought it a good opportunity to watch her add her new card, from a customer perspective. I was expecting to see some kind of extra security measure. But nope, nothing. Just input a card number, hit save and done. Payment then went through. Incidentally, the new card got declined this month saying "bank card does not support this type of purchase" or something. Second question, is anyone else having an upturn of declined payments this month? I guess, my hope is that it's just me... meaning its simply an unlucky month. As opposed to some deeper security change that's starting to break my income. Cheers 🙂

Hey, So i am not getting domain sync emails... and i am quite sure the cron isnt even running as i have some expiry dates within WHMCS currently saying "00/00/000" as their expiry. I am the only admin and my email address is correct in the profile, and i have the enable domain sync feature ticked. I have the one cron task setup in my cpanel that the whmcs settings tell me to use. I used to have a domina cron too, but have deleted that since 7.6 Any help please? 🙂

Hey all, I am not sure how long this has been present for, it could have been here for years, but it can't be good, and with all the recent Stripe upgrades, id rather sort it out. So when I browse to manage payment gateways, under Stripe it says "Required Template Changes Not Found: We were unable to detect the presence of the required WHMCS 7.1 template changes for Stripe compatibility in your active order form or client area template. Please ensure the changes itemised in the 7.1 upgrade here have been applied. Please see Template Changes for more information." It's important to note that i do run a customised template and order form - but i HAVE tested this while running six theme and standard order form and the exact same thing happens

Hi there, I am using the Heart Internet domain module but whenever i try to register a domain it says: 2410: No such contact found Any ideas what this could be? Ps. Registering is the first and only action i've tried to do with this module.

Hey guys, My domains are in a mess and it only gets worse the more I register. I am sure i am partly to blame - but I am hoping on some clarity so i can get myself out of it. The problems I face i think are predominantly because the next due date / expiry dates are not syncing properly. I can't quite put my mess into words as there are so many different types of issues I face, all hinging around the dates - forcing me to have to manually check domains all the time as very often, a domain will be let to expire behind my back whether it been paid for or not - leading to angry customers. I do quite frequently change my next due dates which i think overrides the sync forever, so that could be the source of my woes. It's important to note that my business model is to give a free domain for the life of the product. This is simple when somebody registers a domain from the get-go because everything is tied together... but when someone transfers a domain, the dates dont match and i think the dates have to match for the invoices to be tied together so WHMCS can make it free as long as the product is renewed... which means i have to change the date to force it to match. I guess i can formulate some kind of questions to help... 1. How do other people set up their WHMCS system if they give free domain / free renewals tied to a product? And what do you do for people who transfer domains in when the dates mismatch the product date. 2. If you change the expiry date, it overrides the whois sync correct? So where does the next due date get its date from - and does it change automatically when the cron runs to always tie in with the expiry date? 3. If you do change the expiry date, but you want it to start syncing with whois again, is there a way to undo the override? I think those questions will help kick start off the discussion and hopefully end in me finding my way out of this mess.

Just a registration form... The order form will probably be too complicated to be worthwhile - especially as I nearly always do the order on my customer's behalf anyway.

Hi there, So i would like to have a form on my wordpress site that is connected to WHMCS in some way. Primarily so that when someone fills it out, it auto creates them their profile on WHMCS. I know gravity forms connects via Zapier which works fine, but i don't like the idea of paying Zapier $20 per month just to use that one "Zap". The reason i want it on wordpress rather than forwarding people to my WHMCS installation to create a profile, is because i have more control over Wordpress styling and can make the form look SLICK! Yes... please report back here with an update. This is exactly what is happening to me...

Not sure if it is related, but I am noticing stripe issues now. When a client updates their card, it deletes the customer on the stripe side. This can lead to error messages like what you stated. The work around is to clear the card details in the whmcs admin area, and add them manually. This should create the customer again in stripe. Its annoying but I am hoping they will fix this.
