Last month we announced the release of WHMCS 7.10 to General Availability. Today we have released WHMCS 7.10.2 which contains bug fixes and usability improvements for the 7.10 release. With the V7.10 release being a little over a month ago and demand for the release board now lowering we'll be retiring the V7.10 Release Discussion board on 18th  May 2020.

As with previous release boards, we will be moving the threads into our normal WHMCS Boards and then removing the 7.10 Release Discussion board.

We've begun importing a feed from the blog to the community.  You'll find these located in the News, Announcements & Blogs from WHMCS category (formerly News & Announcements) this is just another way we're making sure you get the latest content from WHMCS no matter which medium you choose to use when you interact with us.

The Registrar TLD & Pricing Sync Utility is one of the main new features of WHMCS 7.10. It's located under the Utilities menu.

Import TLDs from your domain registrar for faster initial setup of TLDs and verification of prices. Perform a synchronization at any time to easily review and compare your current selling prices with cost prices from your registrar, as well as view and import TLDs that you are not currently selling.

Board retirement timeline

- Today - February 5th: The board will no longer accept new threads, please use our standard WHMCS.Community boards for any new threads.  Existing topics on the board can be replied to.
- February 8th 2020 - The V7.9 Release board will be moved into read-only mode, threads will be moved out of the V7.9 release board and into our normal community boards where you will be able to reply to them again.

One of the new features added in WHMCS 7.9 Beta 1 is automated Usage-Based Billing, enabling you to bill your customers for what they've used and consumed. Today, we've begun the process of overhauling our WHMCS.Community Rank Structure.  Previously, limited to Newbie, Member and Level 2 Member our new structure introduces a range of new ranks including Visitors, Members, Collectors, Advisors & Contributors. Over the next few days as users log onto the community they will be migrated over to their new WHMCS.Community Rank based on their activity to date on the community.

Store multiple Credit Card and Bank Account Pay Methods per Client! In WHMCS 7.8, clients can now store multiple Pay Methods for faster checkout. During checkout and manual payment of an invoice, clients can choose any stored Pay Method that is applicable (or create a new one) for that single payment. It's a critical feature, let us know your thoughts!

Server Sync Tool - The new way to keep servers in-sync and reduce dormant account usage

Server Sync is a new tool available in WHMCS 7.8 to help you identify accounts that exist on a web server that do not exist within WHMCS and vica-versa. This allows you to more easily identify and terminate old and unnecessary accounts on a web server, as well as ensure service records within WHMCS are up-to-date and accurate.

Maxmind offers a Device Tracking Add-on as a complementary part of their minFraud fraud checking service. It works by adding a small javascript code to your website which identifies each unique device accessing it, so even if a fraudster changes their IP address or uses a proxy, the device will still be recognized and can receive a higher fraud score if appropriate.
