I get an error when WHMCS tries to create a new hosting account

Hello all,

 

I accept an order but the hosting account is not made in WHM. I checked the activity log and it says "Module Create Failed - Service ID: 18 - Error: Sorry, that username is reserved. " . But what username is it referring to? I have tried with a unique email address and username but I get the same error.

It would be refering to a name like test or demo or with part of in the name

Oh, I see. WHMCS makes a username based on the domain name and if I use testor.org (I did) it makes the username in WHM "test" and that creates the error. Thanks for the help. It seems to be working fine now.

Now I have to figure out the domain registrar module.

Ok, thats nice if I make (create) the accounts manually, I can change the user name, but how it works if I choose "Automatically setup the product as soon as the first payment is received" in the Products/Services > Module Settings?

 

In this case I can't change the user name.

You can change the username manually in WHM. Then change the username recorded in WHMCS.
