jnet
I am fed up with so many tickes in my box from a client's auto response. Never ending:(:(:(:twisted: Now what do others do in this situation?
Administrators WHMCS John Posted October 15, 2009 Administrators Share Posted October 15, 2009 Send system emails from a blackhole address eg. noreply@yourcompany.com. Don't use one of your support departments.
jnet
Thanks John can you please tell me where should this email be put? Do you mean I just put a fake address in there some thing like Donotreply@mydomain.com Don't I need to monitor that?
Administrators WHMCS John Posted October 15, 2009 Administrators Share Posted October 15, 2009 Enter it in Setup > General Settings. You don't need to monitor the address system emails are sent from, we don't.

MACscr
Enter it in Setup > General Settings. You don't need to monitor the address system emails are sent from, we don't. Of course you need to monitor it, how else are you going to know when emails bounce, etc?
bear
You don't need to monitor the address system emails are sent from, we don't. I'd say about 80% or better of those we email system messages reply to that address. We pipe it into Kayako as a presales contact addy. I'll live with the occasional reply that isn't valid. Luckily K has filtering that we can use to drop most vacation replies.
