herpherp
yes, seems that the version number is just wrong, probably an oversight when going from beta to stable
mylove4life
ya more than likely, but all good other than that....
D-Litz
I am unable to update from the beta to the stable... After uploading all the files, I get the update page...however I get a screen that says my version is up to date, nothing to do... After removing just the install folder. I get a page that says Upgrade in process Strange. I may need to open a ticket...

D-Litz
same here, u will have to reinstall from scrath, unless support can do something for ya WOW...that's not GOOD to hear I'll open a ticket with Matt and gang, see if they are working on a procedure to upgrade the beta to stable. Thanks
herpherp
The current version is showing the same as the beta version is why you are not able to upgrade as it is the same version... The version number just needs to be corrected, and I think you would be able to upgrade after that...
mylove4life
might be all it needs... I'd still do a ticket to see if they can do it quick

othellotech
reason #10034 why you shouldnt run a beta on a production site. =P I thought #10034 was "because people will publicly ridicule you" and reason #1179 (summary) of "its dumber than dumb" more than covered this instance ... I'm sure WHMCS support are working on it, but dropping them a ticket will be the best bet

But if I must redeem myself...because I did not specifically indicate in my post above that I am trying to upgrade a beta dev site to a stable version before upgrading my main site...I'm sorry. I just assumed...bad thing I know...
riv
Upgrade to 4.1.1 went easy as pie.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted October 1, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted October 1, 2009 You just need to go to Help > Check For Updates to refresh the license. Then the "An Update is Available" message should disappear.
