JumpNetwork
Hello, What is the best Credit Card payment gateway to use? I know some have bigger monthly charges, but then smaller transaction fees, i would prefer, to have NO monthly charge, but don't mind bigger transaction fees as I am only starting my business at the moment. I know there is PayPal, but many people don't like PayPal, especially since you have to leave WHMCS to use it. Is there any payment gateway, where the customer stays inside WHMCS? Chris.

WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted September 14, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted September 14, 2009 Personally I find WorldPay pretty good, plus you don't need to worry about PCI certification.
EasyWHMCS
Personally I find WorldPay pretty good, plus you don't need to worry about PCI certification. Unfortunately theres a monthly fee with world pay so far i think paypals the best but it goes to a paypal page and not stay on your website
D9Hosting
Sagepay/Protx are a good choice, there's also a WHMCS module you can use in conjunction with them. If you do a search on Google you'll find some coupon codes that allow you to get the 1st 3 months service free of charge.
marky96
we use 2checkout and alert pay. We used Paypal before but had a lot of cancellation problems with them.
treker
2checkout, moneybookers or paypal are the best payment gateways.
owen78
With lots of services available, it can be overwhelming to choose one that suits all your business requirenents . It is good to Compare features, charges, and customer service platforms. While researching, note down questions to ask vendors so you can completely understand what the service offers and how it works.
MediaPlayStudios
We we use Authorized.net, PayPal Pro, PayPal Standard, WorldPay, AlertPay, Google Checkout, 2Checkout, and Pay-offline. And I see that allot of people have commented in this post about gateways that have your customers leave WHMCS and out of the options already talked about only 2 will require your customers to checkout via the gateway website (2Checkout & Google Checkout) PayPal has services that allow for you to process transactions on your website directly without your customer ever leaving your website (PayPal Website Payments Pro & PayPal Payflow) I mean it's for a cost of course and it is not easy to be approved for I mean you must provide a business license, proof of address, & etc. things like that but the transaction rate is much lower then PayPal Standard or PayPal Express
niels
It will depend on your product as well. For example: 2Checkout did not allow me to sell VPN services as they consider a tool to circumvent security (99% of my users are really just expats in Asia trying to use Youtube, Twitter and Facebook, but that didn't matter.) Without prior warning my funds were dumped to my bank and my 2Checkout account terminated. Paypal and Plimus were no problem.
meechp123
What about CDG Commerce? http://www.cdgcommerce.com/internet-services.php?R=1532 I was thinking about signing up with them.
Division
I would totally recommend NoChex, low transaction fees for small customers and you can have the payment pages intergrated into whmcs like what we have done
apnhost
For those using 2checkout, how do you guys handle recurring billing? Do you need to manually send the invoice each month so that the customer could pay again?

easyhosting
I would totally recommend NoChex, low transaction fees for small customers and you can have the payment pages intergrated into whmcs like what we have done One major problem with noChex, if you do not process transactions through them for a certain period then will simply close your account with them, so in other words thay try and force to to demand that your clients use them.

Cape Dave
It looks like a good deal and I am also close to checking them out. I have heard mostly fine things about them when I inquired on WHT boards.
