bin_asc
I`m retouching my own code, as it was privately coded for a company, and it will cost a nominal fee of $10 ( full source - yes, you can peek in the code ! ). Yep, $10 and you get the source. As I see it, it`s not alot and I`m open to requests to improve it/extend it. Upgrades and support included for up to 6 months. It will include : - admin option to sync all users to forum users - compatibility with all vBulletin versions ( future as well ) - user can choose his username or select a predefined ( already checked and available variant ) - session linking ( direct vB, WHMCS logins ) - vBulletin plugin to work with direct upgrades ( no file edits ) More will come. Let me know what you guys think.
Daniel
Excellent! I bought the other version from someone else on here but could never really get it to work properly. Any ideas of when it would be released?

meneketehe
if you're going to charge a fee, it should be in 'commercial contribution'

bin_asc
Updates are in order. I didn`t get to work on this, busy weekend with personal stuff. I`m hoping to get this done by the end of the week. More updates will be posted as I go along.
othellotech
now if you can make it auto-create user groups in vB and assign posting rights based on active/suspended products owned by the user, I'd be very interested
bin_asc
The sky`s the limit, my saying. I`ll see what I can do.
othellotech
we've been contemplating a forum-to-product cross reference to create a simple "posting" rulesset e.g reseller forum=19 read -any post -only with a product (1,2,3,4,5) *active* or *suspended* reply - only with a product (1,2,3,4,5) *active* or *suspended* or *cancelled* or *pending* coming up with the rules is fine, but the more i look @ vb the more I'm heading towards dynamicly setting people into groups based on their products - sort of a cron to remove all groups, then add them back to groups based on the rules table ... in the interim, happy to buy yours for $10, just to see what you've done differently to our whmcs-vb bridge
bin_asc
Well vBulletin does have alot of options to just hook into the core and change users`s options. I`m currently thinking of adding a small admin panel as well, besides just a bridge, to control the whole bridge, as some may not need the usergroup privilege control option. Etc. If this does happen, the source will get encrypted.

marky96
How's it coming along? I'm very interested in it, is there a timeline for it?
bin_asc
Currently it`s at ~30% completion. After the basic coding is done, to have a functional script, refactoring will be done.
bin_asc
I`d like to ask anyone that`s interested in the project to give me a few points of what they expect to see in the project. I`m asking this for coding purposes, just so the requirements will be more clear, so that I can make upgrading easier. If possible, use a format like - I`d need this - that - etc. Thanks
Daniel
- Option to sync all current clients and create them a user in vB - Allow clients to choose a forum username on the registration/order forms - Ability to set custom permissions depending on product type, i.e resellers can see the reseller forum.

othellotech
option of whether to "auto-reg" clients in forum or not ( there are potential privacy/agreement/legal reasons why they may not require or be allowed to us the forum ) client-area function to "signup to forum" where they can enter username (default being their name+clientid) client-area function to alter username from the default to another self-chosen name at any future point option to auto-create forum usergroups based on tblproducts groups option to auto-add users with active/suspended products to the usergroup of that product option to auto-remove users with NO active/suspended products from the usergroup of that product list of permission-overrides by usergroup (default is all on) disable new thread disable reply etc widget to show "last forum post" for all forums they have access to, inside the client area
