kahless2k
Im looking for some software that will provide server-wide traffic stats for my servers. Some cPanel servers running CentOS and some Windows Server 2003 with Plesk 8.6. Preferably something real-time that will show me the number of requests and which domain they are addressed for; and will hopefully give me some stats over a period of time (like awstats). I dont want to have to reconfigure each time i add or remove an account. Anyone else using something similar? Andrew
MikeP
You could try Nagios - http://www.nagios.org/
mylove4life
Looks interesting, are you or anyone else using it? You could try Nagios - http://www.nagios.org/
MikeP
I've used it before. Very technical, but shows awesome stats.
penguin
Nagios provides remote server monitoring, but not usage statistics like Awstats. You cannot easily perform remote statistical monitoring without having remote access to the web server logs for each site in question - you will likely find it easier to install AWstats/Webalizer, etc to each server and monitor that way.

I agree, You'll find it easier to install "AWstats/Webalizer". I use ObservePoint so I don't have to install any thing.
chrismfz
What about something like Zenoss ? (http://www.zenoss.com) Take a look at their demo / tour / screenshots: http://www.zenoss.com/product/demo_choice We use it for all of our servers and not only (web servers, dns, labrats, workstations, everything)

Daniel
I've tried them all, you won't find anything more reliable than Nagios unless you're willing to spend a fortune. It might take a while to get working but once you've got the groups and templates setup you can add servers in seconds. It'll also run on a 128mb VPS unlike most other solutions.
