floyd
I would like to create a custom template for the client area. This may take several days to create and test. But how can I do this on a live system without clients seeing the new template especially during the creation and testing process?

JEDs And how do the hundreds of current customers manage their account if they cannot get to it? ..and you can switch the portal to "Maintenance Mode", preventing so any access by customers whenever you test the new template. If its in maintenance mode then how can I see the template in action? Ideally what I would like is a per user template. That way I could be logged in as a user but only I would be able to see the new template.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted August 7, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted August 7, 2009 Create a new template, but don't make it the default, you can then pass the template variable in the URL: http://wiki.whmcs.com/Linking_to_WHMCS
floyd
Thank you John. I guess I should follow my own advice that I normally give out. Read the directions and documentation. My attention deficit disorder got the best of me.
