  1. sequencehost, The html validator addon for Firefox could be a good place to start. Correct the errors one at a time and upload, work on the next error... Then re-post her if you have not found the problem. BTW, what are the 8 characters just before your end head tag? It is the 1st error. JEDs
  2. 1. It took me awhile to figure out how to order. Virtually every page should have a call to action and "Hosting Plan Information" doesn't work for me. 2. When I did click an order button it was like going to another site. Whmcs can be much more integrated with your design. In contrasts to other posts here, I think your design has visual appeal, just work on the 2 suggestions above. One more suggestion, think about how you open a thread, or post, "I'm lazy" just calls the pihrahnas. It becomes a looping feeding frenzy. That's my 2 cents JEDs PS - Admins, the time-out to post on this forum really s___s. Please change it
  3. Well, this is straight out of a simple mind, but if you don't link to it, how would they find it? JEDs
  4. I couldn't decide if this should be here or in feature request: The ampersands in the links on the the cart throw a html error, many of the errors could be eliminated simply by coding them & . Try the firefox html validator addon to see all the errors quckly. Thanks, JEDs
  5. Goodnet, In the picture you attached to the 1st post, you are looking to register: http://www.dom.ivano-frankivsk.ua Is that your intention? It appears that the rules for the ukranian registry are quite different from any I am familiar with (because a "." is used to differentiate between the levels of a domain) Looking at the site at http://reg.net.ua/news (most of which I cannot read), about a little over halfway down the page is a list of what might be the domains that can be registered through them (it says "admin" towards the top and columns labeld "Suffix" and "Country" If that is so, (may well not be ) then none of the domains you appear to want to register are listed. Does your whmcs install use a registrar module that connects to the ukranian registry?
  6. I can answer to this, yes. I understand what you are trying to do with the first part of your question but I am not able to help you there Cheers!
  7. Sparky, my tail is between my legs: After a fair bit of experimenting I found this to work: {include file="portal/terms.html"} :?I am still confused why my clientregister.tpl opens in my editor with only the 1st line. If I view my local file from ftp, everything is there, but to work on it in my editor I have to copy all then past to my editor. editor=Arachnophilia 4.0 (that's another whole thread I suppose) ftp=CuteFTP Pro 3.3 Anyways, thanks to all contributors in this thread, especially the OP
  8. Agreed, and Matt says it will be included in the next release I am happier with this
  9. If they have suPHP then they can't chmod 777 My server has suPHP, but I only use PayPal with no issues
  10. ivano-frankivsk goes in the "www" box ua goes in the box on the right - this is the tld the dot (.) [ivano-frankivsk(.)ua] is put in by the form forum.ivano-frankivsk is a sub-domain of ivano-frankivsk Regards
  11. I am using it with V4.02, works fine. BUT: Sparky, I had to use the fqdn in fetch. I stored my document to call in the same folder as my terms.tpl, and could not call it without the fqdn (so in my feeble mind the path relative to either file doesn't matter. But the fqdn also works in my viewcart.tpl. Also, I was confused for a while because my copy of clientregister.tpl only had one line: {if $noregistration} So that went unchanged (while the checkout process worked fine) until I viewed it in my ftp program. Even then I had to copy it inside ftp to edit locally, if I downloaded it with ftp it still only had the one line.
  12. I understand everything in the OP's instructions except: 1. Do you remove the files, but not the folder? 2. Why do you remove the (answer to 1.)? My templates_c folder (at unavailable location per instructions) is crammed with a lot of files, viewing some of them looks like they have stuff the system is using. So we just delete the files (or the folder)?
  13. If the client picks a plan then on the next page picks to "I will update my nameservers on an existing domain Or I will register a new domain." They can enter the domain without a tld. The order process will continue all the way to the payment processor
  14. I am running V4.02. Followed the steps in OP and it works fine. Couple of observations in IE (Just upgraded to V8, no other to test): It's interesting that IE bolds the "https" and the domain in the address bar. Second, The downloads.php page is secured, and the download worked fine. Just hard to tell if the download itself (dl.php) was not, or if IE8 fixed the issue.
