fyreflyX
I have a few addons set up for Hosting Accounts [i.e. SSH]. Its a one-time fee, shows on the order and invoice without any problems. But if a client orders hosting + SSH, after going to paypal, he is only asked to pay for the hosting - the SSH fee is not included on the PayPal payment option. Instead I need to send a PayPal payment request after. The invoice is then only updated with the hosting payment and the invoice shows "unpaid" for the SSH fee. The account isn't automatically created because the invoice isn't paid in full. Is there an easier way to set this up so the Product Addons will show when making a payment on PayPal?
arteryplanet
In the addon section, where you have filled out the product price? Make sure you have selected "One time" in the "Billing Cycle" dropdown, but you have put the price in the "Recurring" field instead the "Setup Fee" one.
fyreflyX
Thanks They are in recurring field & the Addons that have a monthly fee do show up when paying by paypal. The billing issue is only affecting addons with a 1 time or annual fee. They are on the invoice, but selecting PayPal only allows to pay for monthly items, not anything that is set to One Time or Annual. It leaves an outstanding balance that I need to request payment for then manually set up the account on WHM.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted August 6, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted August 6, 2009 Have you enabled the modify subscription option in Setup > Payment Gateways? This prevents the initial payment from being a different amount to the subscription amount - some weird quirk of PayPal.
