ScrltOTara
Hi: I just realized that my pre-sales form located here: http://www.scarletsweb.com/manage/contact.php is bouncing. The ticket import log shows that it's from an unregistered email address (DUH), and I get this email: Your email to our support system could not be accepted because it was not recognized as coming from an email address belonging to one of our customers. If you need assistance, please email from the address you registered with us that you use to login to our client area. I thought the point to that form was so that unregistered users can contact you? Thanks, Tara
ScrltOTara
I'm not sure if this is related, but when I try to enter a ticket in cpanel, which pipes to WHMCS, the ticket logs states: Ticket ID Not Found
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted July 30, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted July 30, 2009 Sounds like you've got pre-sales tickets going to a department with "Clients Only" ticked. If you try and submit a ticket from your admin email address WHMCS assumes you are replying to a ticket.
ScrltOTara
Ok, where do you set the department that presales goes to? I couldn't find that. And thanks for #2 - makes perfect sense - I was sending it from my own cpanel. Duh.

ScrltOTara
Ah, found it, thank you! Working now. One more question - in the pre-sales form, if you have "suggest knowledgebase articles" checked for support, it also does it for pre-sales, which seems weird. Can it be turned off for just that form?

It does??? I don't see that on my site, or in my contact.tpl file Edit: Just checked your site and I do not get any suggestions using the presales form.
