idevaffiliate recurring with whmcs

Just to reword it a bit:

We have WHMCS 4 and idevaffiliate as our affiliate software. What we are trying to figure out is which software controls the recurring commisions.

Does WHMCS send another sale on auto-renewals, (as one of our other billing systems does) or do they have to be set up as recurring in idevaffiliate, and if so, how are cancelations dealt with?

I hope someone can enlighten us on these issues.

2- can I have an affiliate get recurring commission at a different rate in 2nd period? IE

75% year 1 and 25% year 2

I don't believe so. I'm not sure WHMCS is setup to do recurring commissions. You might

ask them if the code used with iDevAffiliate will handle recurring.

This is the question and answer I sent Idev, the recurring would be the reason I went with this...

They placed it back on WHMCS

how are we supposed to handle recurring comissions then?

We do it manually. The only interaction with idevaffiliate and WHMCS is when the sale is completed.

Once we get the commission pending notification we have to adjust the recurring % because the sale price includes setup fees.

The only problem I have noticed is that the order number doesn't get passed to idevaffiliate with the cart integration code.
