jrianto
REQUIREMENTS: WHMCS WHM/Cpanel This free WHMCS Gold plugin will help you and your clients to manage day to day hosting operations more easily FEATURES: Auto login to WHMCS from Cpanel to landed on a specified WHMCS page Ability to pass WHMCS variables while landing on WHMCS page HOW IT WORKS: With this module implemented, you can create your own sets of icons or links in Cpanel for your clients to jump around between WHMCS and Cpanel without having to re-login on both system. This module is extremely handy to: Offer Promotional Add-Ons and Services From Your Cpanel area - so when client clicks on it, they are automatically land on the WHMCS ordering page with all the products add-ons already selected, all they have to do is pay. Offer Domain Registration from within your Cpanel Provide Submit Ticket icon/link from Cpanel Provide View Invoices/Billing Area link from Cpanel Provide Update Contact Info link from Cpanel Provide anything which can only be done from within WHMCS, can now be done from Cpanel by clicking on the bridge link, you can also pass variables, for example client landed on WHMCS page, the domain "mysecond-domain.com" has already been entered into the shopping cart. So the clients just need to make payment. Be creative! Download it for free at http://whmcsgold.com
InterServed
Very interesting but i sure do not trust uploading/using encoded stuff that's provided by an unknown person/company , especially when all my clients could be affected. I don't see the point on encoding a free product. Maybe the premium version or something yes but not a free one. Good luck.
sparky
I think the idea of this is great, but I have 1 major problem with it. Now I don't mind using encoded files within a user account where the user account is somewhat limited by the server setup. In your instructions Place bridge.php and bridge_conf.php in /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/x3 or put it to the location of your active cPanel theme. Now by placing your encoded file in that directory gives the file root access to the entire server. There is no way in hell that I will allow that on my server. Good idea... but NO THANKS!!

minadreapta
nice script but i have to agree with Sparky and Interserved above: i will never put encrypted files in a location like that. are all your scripts encoded? i was eager to get the CSF auto unblock script, but not anymore...especially when it deals with server security
herpherp
as well as it connecting to his server to check license validity, assuming since you have to enter license information, this along with the other things mentioned above would be of great concern... Why is a license needed for free product as well?
jrianto
Hi Guys, I've updated the codes, all the plugins files both paid and free which will reside on the WHM/cPanel side will not be encoded anymore. The files are open source now. You can download it again from WHMCSgold.com Thanks guys. Jimmy@WHMCSGold.
jrianto
Agree with Sparky here @ jrianto: Does this work with multiple cPanel servers? Yes it will surely work with multiple cPanel servers. Just make sure you apply the bridge as part of your cPanel "theme" installation. The integration example I give on the site is the "hardcoded" version, just to show you how the bridge may help you. By using cPanel/WHM branding themes you can also restrict the custom WHMCS area sections on cPanel on certain resellers only or just for your own direct customers, not your resellers. Just play around with the theme/branding part of WHM, it should take care of everything.

Why is a license needed for free product as well? I would need to keep track of how many people are actually using my module. As creating this module takes a lot of time and this is not my primary job now. If things goes well and people are actually really using it, I will be focusing on doing WHMCS development as my primary income and the rest of my work as my side jobs. Hopefully, a lot of you find this module helpful and would upgrade to some premium modules Also, I will be giving away one more free module this week, that is for your WHMCS clients to be able to choose whether to login to WHMCS (Billing/Support) or to their cPanel account (which they can choose which one if they have more than one active cPanel account)

nixell
IMHO, i think there must all script not encoded. for license you can make it separate file encoded just only license check
chrismfz
We have some restrictions in php.ini (disable_function stuff) I dont know if this is the problem but: It works from the side that it recognizes the client from cPanel and tries to parse it to WHMCS but in WHMCS I see only the header file the footer file and no homepage data. (In a URL formed like: bridge.php?file=...) So I get my header menu and graphics, the footer and only the Welcome "customer name". And an empty "main" page. All pages (invoices, support etc) I missed something ?

jasonhk
i got a problem if i add this module on our cpanel its automatic set our reseller's account how can i stop this module for my reseller's clients This shouldn't be used on reseller accounts at all. - make a separate theme for your shared clients - it would be better if this was on a server that only hosted your shared clients

mjdj1999
I have installed this following directions to a "T" and have made many of my own edits as well and I get the same over and over. I keep getting logged out of my client area when I use a link from cPanel. This is the error I get: Your account is not found on our system. You may go back to Your cPanel. Is anyone else having this problem? Thanks!
herpherp
Your account is not found on our system. You may go back to Your cPanel. Are you sure that you are logged into your cpanel as a client(not root or yoursite's admin) that is within whmcs?
mjdj1999
When I am logged into WHMCS as admin I can see the "My Cpanel" link in the client area, when I am logged in as a client I cannot. And as admin it will bring me to cPanel as it should but when I click on one of the new icons in cPanel I get that message as it is redirecting me back. If I remove the {if} tags from the template the link will show up but it links back to my client area and not to cPanel. I think I have one spot of hair left to pull out of my head, after that I don't know what to do...
