andymcculloch
I've seen the 'resolved' thread about this same problem - not being able to flag tickets to users in v3.6.2, and I've tried the fix suggested by Matt, but I'm still having trouble with this. Has anyone had this problem and been able to resolve it with Matt's suggestion? Is anyone still having trouble with this despite the 'fix'? Cheers, Andy

I submitted a ticket but I think I used the wrong email address.
Daniel
Run this SQL.. but backup your DB first.. ALTER TABLE `tbltickets` CHANGE `id` `id` INT( 10 ) NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT ,CHANGE `did` `did` INT( 10 ) NOT NULL ,CHANGE `userid` `userid` INT( 10 ) NOT NULL ;
andymcculloch
Thanks Daniel, I've run your SQL, and it's changed a whole load of rows, but it doesn't seem to affect the functionality in the admin panel. I've also tried re-saving the administrators support dept permissions again, with no effect. Any other ideas?

Camron
I am also unable to flag tickets and it's quite important that we be able to do so.

handsonwebhosting
Just updated last week to the 3.6.2 but the flag still doesn't work. Anyone able to post the fix code?

handsonwebhosting
yep - saw that - just thought maybe a public release was made and was hoping that it would have at least been included in the lastest download available on the WHMCS site. Why it's not included in the latest download must be an oversight and needs to be addressed.
Iceman
I'm not sure if Matt has changed things regarding this but I think "fixes" are not released to the public until a later version is released, even when a fix is available. This does create issues for us as we are not willing to upgrade to a later version that has known bugs with known fixes, where we need to submit support tickets to have them fixed. I do hope Matt can correct me here and state that this is now not the case? If the above is still true, then I really do think patches could be approached a little better with say .point releases for a fix as SOON as they become available and made immediately available for owners to download. Cheers, Paul
