  1. The plugin has never worked perfectly for me - sometimes payments were taken properly, other times part payments were set up. The other thing was the inability to do variable payments per customer.. a customer had to have multiple DDs set up. The nicest thing about the plugin was the automatic marking of payments in whmcs.. if one was to move to their own dashboard system for variable payments, then this would also mean that payments would not be marked as paid automatically in whmcs.. it would introduce a manual step - the whole thing with whmcs is to move away from manual stuff and make most things automated. Am I correct in my thinking about the dashboard variable payments system that GC have with respect to whmcs?
  2. I already had, but as I had not had a reply in quite a few hours I posted here. Anyway, I have received a response to the ticket now, so dealing with stuff there. Thanks.
  3. Yup, I certainly did run it. I ran it again (after an hour) in case it had failed for some reason, just to be sure.
  4. I have upgraded from 5.1.7 to 5.2.5 today and after upgrading, I am unable to login to the admin area. I am getting the error URL: http://[myurl]/admin/login.php?incorrect=1 I have already been through an IP ban by attempting too many times. Have searched and searched but can not see anything that I may have done wrong. Any ideas? What am I missing? Regards Denesh
  5. This module does not support single and multi-year (up to 10 years) registrations that Nominet are introducing in about a month.. is there any news from WHMCS as to when the module will support this feature?
  6. The original poster did not only mention Paypal.. so can we get to their actual question? Paypal or no Paypal, there are other methods of payment where it can be extremely valid to have a surcharge.. and looking at the OP's question, he is more worried about bank fees that he wishes to pass on. Can we get off the Paypal topic please and get on with answering the question?
  7. OK, maybe not a surcharge. How about an admin fee for payment handling? Lots of airlines do it.. and many hotels are now starting to charge extra for payment by credit card.
  8. Bom dia Desculpe, meu fala Portuguesa bocadinho. I am still learning. I have started a new business in Lisbon, Portugal, and am looking for two things: 1) a decent TOC and 2) An accounts package and invoicing program.. ones that I am able to use online... because my business partner is Portuguese in Portugal and I am in the UK and we need to access the invoicing and accounts remotely. She is a Windows user, I am a Mac user. I am told that the invoicing/accounting package needs to be approved by the Financas Department. Is WHMCS approved by them for invoicing purposes? Is any online accounts system approved by them, such as Xero.com? What do you do for invoicing and accounting/book-keeping? Regards Denesh
  9. Have searched on the forum and apart from one 'poll' I could not find anything on this.. It would be really useful for us to create a 'demo' user account in whmcs that we can allow people to log in with but not 'checkout'.. just browse, go through the purchasing process, but unable to go ahead with any registration etc etc. Any ideas how I may implement this? Regards Denesh
  10. I notice that Mass Mail allows one to select from Client Status, product types and domain related emails. However one that is missing, for my purposes, is mass mailing depending on payment type. Am I able to add this in myself? Someone able to point me in the right direction for this? Regards Denesh
  11. You are not the only person using a Mac and WHMCS.. I am another. However I have never tried doing what you are trying to do - have had no need. Regards Denesh
  12. We found a way forward with this... and it works wonders. ----- There are two sets of queries which will find out the appropriate information: select t.id, t.tid, t.did, t.userid, t.name, t.email, c.id, c.firstname, c.lastname, c.email from tbltickets t left join tblclients c on (t.email = c.email) where t.userid=0 and c.email is not null; select t.id, t.tid, t.did, t.userid, t.name, t.email, c.id, c.firstname, c.lastname, c.email, cons.email from tbltickets t left join tblcontacts cons on (t.email = cons.email) left join tblclients c on (cons.userid = c.id) where t.userid=0 and c.email is not null; These can be used to create the update statements to 'fix' the issue, and can be run as cron jobs. ----- Have informed WHMCS about this and have asked if it can be included in the next release of WHMCS. Regards Denesh
  13. I'm trying to tidy up our open and closed tickets.. we have a number of these that are existing customers (set up as clients within WHMCS) but they have emailed in from an email address not registered in their client profile with us. So I am now adding these 'extra' email addresses into the client profile, however it still does not mark these as belonging to that particular client. I know I can go into the options section of each ticket and 'appoint' the client name however it is a slow and arduous process. How does one do this as a 'single' job for multiple tickets belonging to a particular email address? Regards Denesh
  14. Thanks.. although this was more to do with them agreeing to new T&Cs during the 'upgrade' process more than anything.. especially as there is no where within the whmcs system to agree to new T&Cs on an upgrade process. A way around this as I have found out is within whmcs > general settings > ordering - allow orders for domains already within the system. Regards Denesh
