  1. The plugin has never worked perfectly for me - sometimes payments were taken properly, other times part payments were set up. The other thing was the inability to do variable payments per customer.. a customer had to have multiple DDs set up. The nicest thing about the plugin was the automatic marking of payments in whmcs.. if one was to move to their own dashboard system for variable payments, then this would also mean that payments would not be marked as paid automatically in whmcs.. it would introduce a manual step - the whole thing with whmcs is to move away from manual stuff and make most things automated. Am I correct in my thinking about the dashboard variable payments system that GC have with respect to whmcs?
  2. I already had, but as I had not had a reply in quite a few hours I posted here. Anyway, I have received a response to the ticket now, so dealing with stuff there. Thanks.
  3. Yup, I certainly did run it. I ran it again (after an hour) in case it had failed for some reason, just to be sure.
  4. I have upgraded from 5.1.7 to 5.2.5 today and after upgrading, I am unable to login to the admin area. I am getting the error URL: http://[myurl]/admin/login.php?incorrect=1 I have already been through an IP ban by attempting too many times. Have searched and searched but can not see anything that I may have done wrong. Any ideas? What am I missing? Regards Denesh
  5. This module does not support single and multi-year (up to 10 years) registrations that Nominet are introducing in about a month.. is there any news from WHMCS as to when the module will support this feature?
  6. The original poster did not only mention Paypal.. so can we get to their actual question? Paypal or no Paypal, there are other methods of payment where it can be extremely valid to have a surcharge.. and looking at the OP's question, he is more worried about bank fees that he wishes to pass on. Can we get off the Paypal topic please and get on with answering the question?
  7. OK, maybe not a surcharge. How about an admin fee for payment handling? Lots of airlines do it.. and many hotels are now starting to charge extra for payment by credit card.
  8. Bom dia Desculpe, meu fala Portuguesa bocadinho. I am still learning. I have started a new business in Lisbon, Portugal, and am looking for two things: 1) a decent TOC and 2) An accounts package and invoicing program.. ones that I am able to use online... because my business partner is Portuguese in Portugal and I am in the UK and we need to access the invoicing and accounts remotely. She is a Windows user, I am a Mac user. I am told that the invoicing/accounting package needs to be approved by the Financas Department. Is WHMCS approved by them for invoicing purposes? Is any online accounts system approved by them, such as Xero.com? What do you do for invoicing and accounting/book-keeping? Regards Denesh
  9. Have searched on the forum and apart from one 'poll' I could not find anything on this.. It would be really useful for us to create a 'demo' user account in whmcs that we can allow people to log in with but not 'checkout'.. just browse, go through the purchasing process, but unable to go ahead with any registration etc etc. Any ideas how I may implement this? Regards Denesh
  10. I notice that Mass Mail allows one to select from Client Status, product types and domain related emails. However one that is missing, for my purposes, is mass mailing depending on payment type. Am I able to add this in myself? Someone able to point me in the right direction for this? Regards Denesh
  11. You are not the only person using a Mac and WHMCS.. I am another. However I have never tried doing what you are trying to do - have had no need. Regards Denesh
  12. We found a way forward with this... and it works wonders. ----- There are two sets of queries which will find out the appropriate information: select t.id, t.tid, t.did, t.userid, t.name, t.email, c.id, c.firstname, c.lastname, c.email from tbltickets t left join tblclients c on (t.email = c.email) where t.userid=0 and c.email is not null; select t.id, t.tid, t.did, t.userid, t.name, t.email, c.id, c.firstname, c.lastname, c.email, cons.email from tbltickets t left join tblcontacts cons on (t.email = cons.email) left join tblclients c on (cons.userid = c.id) where t.userid=0 and c.email is not null; These can be used to create the update statements to 'fix' the issue, and can be run as cron jobs. ----- Have informed WHMCS about this and have asked if it can be included in the next release of WHMCS. Regards Denesh
  13. I'm trying to tidy up our open and closed tickets.. we have a number of these that are existing customers (set up as clients within WHMCS) but they have emailed in from an email address not registered in their client profile with us. So I am now adding these 'extra' email addresses into the client profile, however it still does not mark these as belonging to that particular client. I know I can go into the options section of each ticket and 'appoint' the client name however it is a slow and arduous process. How does one do this as a 'single' job for multiple tickets belonging to a particular email address? Regards Denesh
  14. Thanks.. although this was more to do with them agreeing to new T&Cs during the 'upgrade' process more than anything.. especially as there is no where within the whmcs system to agree to new T&Cs on an upgrade process. A way around this as I have found out is within whmcs > general settings > ordering - allow orders for domains already within the system. Regards Denesh
  15. Nope - never restarted the browser whilst this has happened. The thing is a like a yo-yo at the moment with some of those that had disappeared now appearing again and some still missing. :-( I think the client record may still be in the DB itself... not sure. Any ideas? Have also experienced things within package setups going awry too. For example, the module settings section selecting 'none' even though it was previously set to cPanel and thus all settings for that package disappear. Sometimes the 'apply VAT to this product' also gets deselected. Nothing shows up in the activity logs. :-( Any ideas on this too? Regards Denesh
  16. Hi We are setting up some accounts in whmcs and cpanel which have a definite expiry date. Now so far we have been doing these manually after 'ordering' the package and then processing a cancellation at the end of the billing period (with the next due date being set manually too) Is there any way at all to set a specific expiry date during the order process? One where the account actually expires/cancels/terminates and no invoice is raised to continue the account past this date on the specific account? Regards Denesh
  17. We have a number of customers who have services under olsder contracts with us. We also no longer offer those particular hosting accounts. What is the best way for us to have those customers (whilst their existing hosting accounts and domains are still active in whmcs) either sign up to new services or upgrade their services? The important thing is for them to agree to the new T&Cs. As far as I am aware a customer can not sign up for another service for the same domain name whilst the service is active in whmcs and cPanel ... And upgrading a package does not force any T&Cs to be agreed to. Any pointers? Regards Denesh
  18. When I try and use this I get the following: The file /home/xyzabc/modules/admin/enom_extended/enom_extended.php is corrupted. Is there a newer version for download?
  19. Hi Any idea what may be happening here? I noticed this just before Christmas and noticed it just now - today.. Basically, customer profiles within whmcs are going missing.. nothing in the activity logs shows any deletion of those profiles.. So as an example - I know that xyz was set up as a customer in whmcs.. we also know that they raised tickets and his tickets were replied to. However now their tickets appear with no customer assigned to them.. I go and search for xyz and they are no longer in the system.. their profile has totally disappeared. The interesting thing is that the customer accounts are still intact within cpanel. This has happened with a number of customer profiles and accounts... the more recent ones :-( I now have to go and set up these customers again and link the cpanel hosting accounts to them... Anyone know about what has been happening here and how it can be fixed? Shall we be looking for something in particular? Regards Denesh
  20. This is weird and the first time I have experienced this.. anyone else had the same and anyone able to point me in the direction of a fix? Customer ordered a service and a proforma invoice was generated.. lets call it invoice 282 At around the same time, a monthly automated proforma invoice for an existing customer was generated - let's call this invoice 283 For some reason, the invoice 282 screen came up blank for the customer on checkout, so he clicked the back button in his browser and went through the whole thing again, generating proforma invoice 284 Soon after, the system automatically generated a monthly invoice for the month of December (as we generate invoices 30 days in advance of due date), based on the service in invoice 282. Let's call this one invoice 285 Anyway, customer for some reason pays invoice 285 via paypal... We cancel invoice 284 and tell him that invoice 282 is outstanding and needs to be paid before we activate the account. He pays via paypal and this marks invoice 282 as paid.. however for some reason the order is still marked as unpaid. When I go into 'Manage Orders' for the service that was ordered, it lists invoice 283 (ie one for a different and unrelated customer) in there. :-( Any idea why this happened and how I can remove the incorrect invoice and insert the correct 'paid one' in there? -DB
  21. How did you get on? I have just tried to register a domain name via the Nominet EPP module in whmcs and also have the same problem... -DB
  22. Ah, you are indeed correct. Sorry about that... this is the first time we have run a monthly report on the affiliates.. we started using whmcs only 3 months ago. For some reason I thought we had run the email report before, but it seems I was micing up the 'on page' report with the email report. The on-page' report still works fine.. just the emailed one is 'blank' so to speak. -DB
  23. We had the same today. We upgraded from 3.6.2 to 3.7.1 in September and the first monthly referrals report since the upgrade went out this morning... with the same information you describe. Anyone found a fix for this or is it time to raise a support ticket with whmcs? -DB
  24. Hi All of a sudden today we notice that disk usage stats have stopped working... they no longer show up in the Disk Usage Summary Report.. the disk usage appears as 0, and these figures also no longer show up in the customer's own 'Products/Services' profile. We are using the latest version of WHMCS with WHM 11.23.2 cPanel 11.23.6-R27698 running on CentOS. Any ideas? Regards DB
