Resolved
Hi, I just want to know if anyone knows a good place to get a dedicated server that includes cpanel/whm and whmcs? I seem to find a lot of places to get a dedi that includes (or has an option) for cpanel/whm, but can't see to find a place that offers whmcs too. (Yes, I know I can just get it and install it...but I was hoping to find a place that would allow me to just order the server all nice and configured so I can just start doing stuff right away.) Thanks in advance. Newbie
ur
You'll find ded plans usually don't include this whereas some hosts do offer reseller plans that do. I personally wouldn't recommend that you base your choice of dedicated service provider on the basis of them offering WHMCS in the first place.
gascione
We would be more than happy to do it for you on one of our dedicated server packages as long as you are paying for the licensing. PM me if you want to discuss. GA LightHouse Hosting
othellotech
We regularly install it for people on our dedicated servers and vps. My suggestion would be to pick a supplier of a managed dedicated, and just ask them, if you're not confident in doing it yourself ...
uberhost
We offer $12/mo WHMCS on all of our dedicated servers. It's in the configurable options, as is cPanel/WHM.
HostRW
Have a look at Hostgator.com They offer cPanel/WHM, WHMCS and SiteBuilder on their dedi's all included for free. And they really rock with very good support too!
alinford
Have a look at Hostgator.comThey offer cPanel/WHM, WHMCS and SiteBuilder on their dedi's all included for free. And they really rock with very good support too! Can multiple dedi's through Hostgator be used with a single WHMCS as I move accounts over? I figure I will need 3 servers just for my current hosting clients as I transition over.

redrat
Hostgator Dedi prices are absolutely outrageous anyway IMHO.
uberhost
Wow, self promotion in the developers own forums. So? It's not like WHMCS offers dedicated servers anyway.
goddess_dix
how is this self-promotion? i am not hostgator. nor do i think the other poster is hostgator. i am not pimping affiliate links here...i do have a managed dedi with hg, though, and after having been through several hosts over the last 8 or 9 years, quality support and customer-service orientation is NOT something i dismiss lightly. i'm more than happy to recommend providers or services that i have had good luck with, and appreciate it when others do the same. backups question, i have my backups set up to run daily, and then the backup folder rsynced daily to an offsite backup service for some redundancy. so if the planet ever blows up, i've got an option to get back up and running with my backup. i use bq backup, which for the amount of space i need, cost about $20/month. clarification: The Planet datacenter, not the planet earth....lol
michael_s
So far there has been no spam in this thread that I can see. All helpful suggestions. if the planet ever blows up, i've got an option to get back up and running with my backup. And as we all know, the planet did blow up a datacenter not too long ago I had a dozen servers in the houston DC that torched itself! Remote backups saved the day again

handsonwebhosting
We had to stop our Dedicated Server hosting campaign "Smokin' Hot Servers". This was launch just before the event at The Planet, and was stopped early due to what happened Now we've gone with "Cool Duel's"

bear
Now we've gone with "Cool Duel's" Presumably spelled differently, one would hope? Duel: to fight someone Dual: two, or twin, as in processors...
