Incompatible Encoding PHP 8.1

Recommended Posts

I show two items that have an encoding error. I use PHP 8.1 with IONCUBE 12.0.5. Everything is updated as of today that I'm aware of.

Incompatible Encoding  2 items
These files cannot be decoded by ionCube Loader for the specified PHP version. If you wish to use this PHP version, you will need to contact the original vendor and acquire a version encoded with compatibility for your desired PHP target version.

downloads.php
WHMCSPATH/whmimport.php

It says it can't decode these files. Should I remove them or are there new files I should manually upload?

Also, where is the log files when you click  Log Errors and SQL Debug Mode?

Thank you

Assuming you did the automated update, it's possible it may have missed those two files and you have an older version?
I'd start with manually downloading those two, then grab a download of the version of WHMCS you have installed on the server from the WHMCS client area. Find those two files and make sure the info above the encoding match the ones from the live installation.

If they don't match, consider replacing the live version with the fresh download. If they do match, open a support ticket.
