Mark Prince
So I am stuck trying to install WHMCS. In order to complete the setup process you need to run ioncub, but it only workds with PHP 5.x or earlier. My CentOS servers are running PHP8. I can't seem to find documentation on how to downgrade and besides, It looks like PHP5 hasn't been supported for the past 5 years. What should I do? Assume I can get php5 to run, will WHMCS, WHM and Cpanel even run with such an old version? And isn't php5 loaded with security issues? Any help is appreciated - thanks in advance. Administrators WHMCS John Posted September 8, 2022 Administrators Share Posted September 8, 2022 Hi @Mark Prince, PHP 8.0 is not supported by WHMCS. Our forthcoming v8.6 release will support PHP 8.1. In the meantime, please use PHP 7.4 instead.
