JavierCN
Hello: I would like to upgrade the operating system of my server. What operating system is recommended by the WHMCS requirements? Thank you.
pRieStaKos
https://docs.whmcs.com/System_Requirements Most current web servers* that use PHP and MySQL® can run WHMCS. * We validate WHMCS to run in Linux based environments running the Apache web server. Other environments like Windows-based configurations may experience compatibility issues with which Technical Support cannot assist. https://docs.whmcs.com/System_Environment_Guide#Operating_System
leemahoney3
I'd say 99.9% of WHMCS installs are on a Linux environment, whichever flavor is up to you. I've ran WHMCS on Windows before and didn't notice any issues, it was running on a WAMP stack and I had IonCube installed.
